Conversion of 6×4 trailer load to cubic metres

1 Trailer Load = 0.7 cubic metres
1.5 Trailer Loads = 1 cubic metres
2 Trailer Loads = 1.5 cubic metres
3 Trailer Loads = 2 cubic metres
4.5 Trailer loads = 3 cubic metres

When you do not know the exact amount of soil for your next project, pace out the length and width of the area you wish to work on. With these measurements multiply the length by the width and multiply by the required depth.

It will not be an exact measurement, though will give you a rough idea as to the quantity that is needed.

If you are going to be compacting the area or using a base sand, add a bit extra for adjustment.
